Junior Club Training Kit

Training kit consists of clothes suitable for the weather conditions, mouth guard, shin pads and astroturf trainers.
Beeston has a strict kit policy. Please wear any sports wear, of any colour at training, but refrain from wearing any items with school logos or ‘other’ hockey club kit. If you have just joined the club or don’t want to buy the club kit, then we can lend shirts for matches to our younger members (U12s). However if Under 12s do purchase kit, we request that they please do not add numbers to the shirts.
If you are playing in U14, U16 and U18 Championship matches, or playing for adult teams on a regular basis, you will be expected to purchase your own home and away kit.
Mouth Guards and Shin pads are essential for protection – members will not be allowed to play without them.

Junior Club Playing Kit

Adidas home kit: black shirt, black shorts/skort, gold socks.
Adidas away kit: white shirt, black shorts/skorts, white socks
Only the official Adidas kit available from ‘The Beehive Hockey Shop‘ can be worn for matches. Shirt numbers will be assigned to all U14, U16 and U18 age groups – ask in the shop.

Sticks

Hockey sticks are available at every coaching session and on match days if required. The club opens it’s shop, ‘The Beehive Hockey Shop‘, on Saturdays 1.00pm – 4.00pm and Sundays 09:30am – 12:30pm during the season where sticks, mouth guards, shin pads, socks, gloves etc can be purchased.  As well as playing kit there is a range of tracksuit tops, tracksuit bottoms, sweatshirts and hoodies which are available to purchase.

Goalkeeping equipment

Goalkeeper kit is very expensive to buy. The club has some kits which can be lent to those who are interested in becoming a goalkeeper, although some age-groups may have to share. Please contact Simon Hujwan to discuss kit availability. (Simon Hujwan – [email protected])
