The day was billed as ‘Super Sunday’. The FHP Bees, the Cup holders, at home to Kent Giants and last years league winners, Holcombe, in the England Hockey Cup Round 3.
Nottingham Hockey Centre has recently launched its Sunday afternoon mixed hockey league.
This Sunday, 13th November, the men’s Cup holders, Beeston, are playing last years league winners, Holcombe in the England Hockey Cup Round 3.
As the weather is now starting to get colder there is potential for the hockey pitches to freeze, and training sessions and matches could possibly be cancelled.
The U18 boys and girls both progressed to the next round of the England Hockey U18 Cup this Sunday.

The Ryley Wealth Management Man of the Match, Simon Hujwan, was superb in the Beeston net this Sunday at Nottingham Hockey Centre as the Bees took all 3 points against Hampstead and Westminster.
Beeston Ladies 1st XI were back to winning ways on Saturday with an excellent 1-0 victory away at Loughborough Students.
Last week three Beeston girls represented England at U21 level as they pushed for selection for the Junior World Cup later this year in Chile.
