Beeston’s play-off hopes were boosted with a 1-0 victory at home to Holcombe, who they leapfrogged into third spot.
Second-placed Holcombe kept the pressure on Surbiton with a 3-1 victory at Beeston.
Kathryn Lane opened the scoring for Beeston in the ninth minute before goals from Dirkie Chamberlain, Heather McEwan and Sofia Viarengo Cervino sealed all three points for the away side.
The Vice-Presidents presented a cheque for £1000 to the men’s and ladies 1st teams on Sunday 11th November during their lunch before the men played Reading.
Elliot Hibell’s 25th minute goal had put Beeston ahead against Reading, but the visitors scored through Max Heaver in the 62nd minute to ensure the match was drawn 1-1.
Beeston were victorious by a margin of 3-1 at bottom of the table Canterbury.
On the 5th and 6th of November, the 3rd STICK Project consortium meeting took place in Rotterdam at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Rotterdam Hockey Club.
Beeston and Wimbledon drew 2-2 to share the spoils. Joe Sharp and James Albery picked up the goals for the Bees & Peter Small and Ben Tibble were the Wimbledon goalscorer.
Beeston and Slough played out a 1-1 draw to secure a point each with Mel Ball giving Slough the lead before Caroline Hanks equalised for Beeston.
