The club have the following exciting opportunities available for the 2020/21 season.
Men’s 2nd team coach
The men’s 2nd team finished 2nd in the Midlands Premier League for the 2019/20 season. Kay Bond has been appointed 2nd team manager once again and the club are seeking a coach to deliver training sessions on Thursday evenings and attend all fixtures during the season.
The 2nd team coach will join the men’s performance coaching team and will work closely with Mark Wadsley (head coach), Stephen Wood (first team coach) and James McBlane (assistant coach).
Men’s club coach – Wednesday evening
The Men’s 3rd – 9th team participate in the Midlands Region Hockey Association men’s leagues and the club are seeking a coach to deliver club coaching on Wednesday evenings with Gareth Griffiths (men’s club head coach).
Men’s and Ladies’ Umpire Manager
The men’s and ladies’ sections are seeking a volunteer to co-ordinate the umpires for adult fixtures throughout the season. This would involve communicating with and appointing the club umpires to fixtures for the men’s 4th-9th teams and ladies’ 3rd – 7th teams.
Ideally this would be a roll for one person to take on however, the role could be split between two different people across the men’s and ladies’ sections, providing there is good communication between the two.
