The club are delighted to welcome Steph Tirrell to the Ladies performance squad.
Steph joins the club from Buckingham where she was part of their historic Super Sixes indoor success. Steph played a pivotal role throughout the tournament including key saves in the final.
Despite only being in her mid 20s Steph is an experienced keeper who grew up playing for  Cambridge before moving to Leicester and then Buckingham.
Head Coach James Sordillo said, “I’ve known Steph for a little while now and I know how much value she will add not only on the field but off the field as well. Despite limited time with the group it feels like she has been around for years already.
I know other clubs were interested and Steph has shown everyone involved the upmost respect and dealt with things in a really honest and open way and it speaks volumes about her personality and the type of person we are bringing into the club”
Steph has already joined up with the squad and played with the group in preseason.
The ladies 1st XI get their campaign underway against Holcombe on Saturday 18th September at 2pm vs Holcombe.
