Beeston welcome back Robinson and Hulme

The club are delighted to welcome back Sophie Robinson and Caro Hulme to the Ladies 1^st XI squad.
Both players return to Beeston after a short spell away and will be part of the performance squad for the coming year.
Sophie Robinson, who is better known as Robbo, returns after a stints with Buckingham and Belper. Caro most recently played for Nottingham Trent University.

Robbo, who is also part of the Welsh international set up, has amassed over 200 appearances for the Ladies 1^st XI and her return sees her set to add to the impressive tally.
Both Caro and Robbo were part of the Ladies 1^st XI squad that achieved promotion to the Premier Division and then went on to achieve a 5^th place finish in their first season back playing at that level.
Head Coach James Sordillo said of their return, “I’m really pleased both Robbo and Caro have made the decision to return.
I have spent a lot of time talking to both players about what they want to achieve and what they want out of their hockey and I’m hopeful we can support them in that. Robbo has already joined up with the squad and Caro will be joining up with the squad in the coming week
The season is getting closer now and we are really looking forward to getting going”
Robbo and Caro are the seventh and eighth players to join the ladies performance squad this year. You can watch the new look Ladies 1^st XI in action when they play Holcombe on the first day of the season at Nottingham Hockey Centre, 2pm pushback.
