Beeston ladies’ 1st team captain, Lauren Burrell and men’s stalwart, Robbie Gleeson have been chosen to jump as part of the fundraising skydive for the club.
The skydive fundraiser was announced back in June and so far has raised over £2000.
Lauren and Robbie will be taking to the skies to help raise vital funds for the club towards the end of the season at Langer airfield in Nottingham. After exiting the aircraft, they will freefall for 45 to 50 seconds, reaching speeds of over 120 mph, until hopefully their parachute is deployed. The descent under the parachute will take several minutes, during which time Lauren and Robbie will enjoy the amazing views of the Nottinghamshire countryside.
Please help Lauren and Robbie raise vital funds for the club by visiting the Just Giving page and donate.
