World Masters Hockey (WMH) have today confirmed that the World Cup in Nottingham in August 2020 has been postponed until 2021.
As this is a postponement, the event will still be the WMH World Cup Nottingham 2020. The eligibility rules will be those in place now i.e. ‘the qualifying age for players in each age group will be the 31st December 2020’.
More information concerning the World Cup in Nottingham will be published shortly but the agreement with WMH is for the event to be postponed until August 2021.
WMH will be issuing further information on how the decision to postpone the 2020 tournaments will impact on the ongoing cycle of events.
We wish everyone well during this difficult time and look forward to welcoming you all to Nottingham in 2021.
