If you answer YES then the umpire developer course is for you.
EMHUA are organising an England Hockey Umpire Developer Award course on Tuesday 28th November 6:45 – 9:45 at West Bridgford HC clubhouse NG2 7FA (adjacent to the Fire station).
It’s a 3 hour course, delivered by a very experienced tutor and is FREE.  It will help equip you with some of the skills and knowledge you’ll need to help umpires improve.  Once you’ve attended the course, you’ll be on the first rung of the umpire developer pathway.(click to view)
The course consists of 6 sections:
•         The online Rules test (click to view)
•         What makes a good umpire developer?
•         Match day responsibilities
•         Recognising good umpiring
•         Giving effective feedback
•         Using the feedback form
There is a aim for every club in the country to have a club umpire developer AND your Association need more qualified coaches/developers.  So, if you want to attend the course please apply to [email protected].
