We are delighted to announce FHP are to continue as a headline sponsor for the 2017/18 season.
We caught up with FHP Director, John Proctor.
Why Hockey?
FHP has continually supported grassroots and professional sport within this region and will continue to do so.
Hockey is all inclusive. Both the male and female teams are equally judged and of course the ladies side of hockey received great attention because of Rio.
Why Beeston?
Through our own personal connections we have strong links with the club and have come to learn that Beeston and the facilities provided at Nottingham Hockey Centre are National Centres of Excellence, helping strengthen junior and adult Hockey in the Midlands.
Beeston fights geographically on the national stage and is disadvantaged by the southern clubs, who are closer to England Hockey’s training base at Bisham Abbey.
Has it benefitted you from a commercial perspective?
Undoubtedly, yes. We entered with relatively low expectations supporting from a vocational view point but the club’s proactive approach within social media and regular updates has, both to the membership of Beeston and to the wider community, helped lift our commercial presence within the City.
The onward aspirations of the club and the increasing attractiveness of Hockey from a spectator’s perspective means that there will be more TV, radio and press coverage over the next few years.
We would definitely encourage more companies’ involvement at the Club and look forward to renewing our sponsorship for the 2017/18 season.
