Oakham School has a Regional and National reputation as an outstanding hockey school with an emphasis on excellence and a commitment to sport for all.
The School are looking for a dynamic graduate who would inspire, nurture and motivate our pupils to excel. The successful candidate will contribute to an energetic sports department to share the workload in this busy role. The Graduate Hockey Professional will have responsibilities in all aspects of Sport including; coaching and administration for fixtures as required by school, contributing at a high level to our first XI programme and leading the individual player development scheme for our current and future representative players.
The post is a full time fixed term contract, in the first instance, where accommodation is provided with food during term-time. This post would suit any current National League player wishing to pursue a career in PE teaching – who would have the option of playing top hockey within 45 minutes travel time to Beeston Hockey Club.
Starting date September 2017.
