The Whirlowdale Bees played Brooklands Poynton on Saturday 18th March at Nottingham Hockey Centre.
Sophie Robinson opened the scoring for the Bees in the 22nd minute. Brooklands Poynton levelled just before half time with an open play goal from Annie Mills.
In the second half Rosy Stephens put the Bees ahead in the 38th minute and Alice Huddlestone extended the lead 6 minutes later. Tor Hughes pulled a goal back for Brooklands in the 53rd minute.
Rosy Stephens put the game to bed in the 68th minute and the score finished 4-2 to the Bees.
Beeston are now one point behind Brooklands Poynton at the top of the league with just one game left to play. The Bees play Sutton Coldfield away next Saturday 25th March at 2pm.
