The Whirlowdale Bees continued their fine run of goalscoring form this weekend with an emphatic 7-0 win against Wakefield, with seven different players getting their names on the scoresheet.
Sophie Robinson scored her 15th goal of the season in the 4th minute. Fenella Scutt, Paige Gillott and Meg Byas also netted for the Bees in the first half.
The Bees continued to dominate in the second half with further goals from Alice Huddlestone, Rebekah Walker and Rosy Stephens.
The Bees travel to Ben Rhydding next Saturday (1:30pm) and then to Liverpool Sefton the following week (12:30pm). The next home game is a crunch match against current table toppers, Brooklands Poynton on Saturday 18th March at 2pm; a game which could decide who wins the league and progress to the play-off finals.
