The men’s and ladies’ 1st teams have performed superbly so far this season and the talent and development we have witnessed on the pitch has been second to none. Off the pitch we have also been making good strides to strengthen the clubs position as a leading European hockey club, with the recently announced partnership with HC Rotterdam.
In order to continue to make our mark on the national and international stage, we will need more centrally contracted players to add to our already impressive arsenal of talent. In order to bring players of this calibre to the club, we will need to offer them financial support to help them cover their travel costs from Bisham Abbey (Buckinghamshire), and the cost of living in an expensive part of the country.
This season, we have made great strides in gaining the support from local and national businesses, we now have over 60 businesses helping to support our men’s and ladies’ 1st team programmes.
In order to bring further quality players to Beeston, we need to raise more funds to support them. The club has adopted a number of schemes which will raise this essential income, the first of which is a new Vice-Presidents Club. The Club have introduced a new scheme for it’s Vice-President to help support our Centrally Contracted international players. This involves setting up a monthly direct debit, which will directly support our world- class players.
We would like the thank the Vice-Presidents who have already began to support this scheme.
