The finals of the Boys Clubs Super 6s Championships took place on the 21-22 January 2017. Beeston U18 boys finished second in their group after defeating Taunton Vale and the City of Peterborough and picking up draws against Canterbury and Doncaster. The Bees faced Surbiton in the semi final where the match finished 5-2 to Surbiton who went on to win the competition.
The U16 and U18 girls were also in action at the finals of the Girls Clubs Supers 6s Championships. The U16 girls finished second in their group with 3 wins and a loss. The Bees were knocked out in the semi final against local rivals Repton 5-1. The U18 girls defeated Brooklands Poynton and Harleston Magpies and picked up a draw against Wycombe, however, a loss to Isca in the final game of the group stages denied the Bees a chance to progress to the semi-final.
Congratulations to all the players that took part in the competitions and a huge thanks to the managers and coaches who travelled with the teams.
