Beeston’s President, Ian Sutton, presented a cheque to Stephen Lawrence and Phoebe Willars at this Sunday’s Vice-Presidents lunch. The Vice-Presidents have managed to raise over £1000 since the start of the season to help support the 1st team programmes.
Men’s 1st XI captain, Stephen Lawrence, commented, “It’s great to have the support of the clubs vice-presidents. A lot of the VP’s come down to support the men’s and ladies games and I think it’s great they engage with the club so passionately. On behalf of the men’s 1st team I would like to thank them for their support and fundraising efforts.”
Phoebe Willars commented, “I’d like to thank Ian and all the vice-presidents at the club for their support on behalf of the ladies 1st team. The club has made great strides this year engaging with local businesses to support the men’s and ladies programmes. To have this level of support from our vice-presidents is absolutely fantastic. Thank you!”
