The Bees progressed to Round 3 of the England Hockey Cup last Sunday after an away win at Doncaster Hockey Club. The draw for took place on Monday at Bisham Abbey, England Hockey Headquarters.
The Cup Holders, Beeston, drew a home fixture against last years league winners, Holcombe. The fixture will take place on Sunday 13th November at Nottingham Hockey Centre at 12:30pm.
The day is set to be a fantastic display of local hockey as the ladies 1st team take on Liverpool Sefton in the Investec North Conference at 2:30pm, after the men’s clash with the Kent giants.
There is another England Hockey Men’s Cup Round 3 fixture taking place on the new waterbase pitch on the other side of the car park to Pitch 1. The University of Nottingham will play Brooklands MU at the same time as the Bees take on Holcombe at 12:30pm.

Woody commented, “This is a great opportunity to watch the most talented hockey players playing in the area. Holcombe have a very strong squad again this year and the game will be a tough one but we are relishing the challenge. The cup holders against the league champions – anything could happen!”
